First Aid Training

From Holly Smiley to all RS and YW:

The Relief Society is organizing a Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification class. This is a wonderful thing to do especially as we are coming into the summer months full of activity! It is also a valuable tool to add to your emergency preparedness.

It will take place at the Sunset Athletic Club on April 21st and 28th 6:30-9:00pm. Certification takes a total of 5 hours, so we have broken it down into two classes, each 2 1/2 hours. By arranging our own class it will only be those that sign up through us.

We are doing the American Red Cross adult and child CPR training plus first aid. Infant CPR is also available; if you are interested in infant CPR please let me know. If there are enough women to hold a second class we will arrange it. If you have any questions regarding the certification you can email Erin at erin@sacclubhouse.com.

The cost is $35 per individual. This is a very reasonable price for all three classes (child and adult CPR and First Aid). If this is something you would like to do but the $35 doesn't fit in your budget please speak with Holly as we may be able to sponsor a few Relief Society certifications.

Sunset Athletic Club needs a final headcount in order to reserve the time for our group and have supplies and staff ready. If you want to attend you should:

1. Email me to let me know you want to be on the list mccauleyrach@gmail.com
2. Turn in a check to any member of the presidency made out to Sunset Athletic Club
for $35 by Sunday April 10th.

Your place is not officially reserved until we have a check.

There is a minimum and maximum number that can attend the class so we want to make sure we can accommodate those that want to attend. Be sure to invite any friends or neighbors that might be interested in becoming certified!

Sis. Fisher pointed out that this workshop would work well for accomplishing a Knowledge PP project.
